We are pleased to announce that the Korean Association of Certified Exercise Professionals (KACEP) is hosting ¡°The 9th Events for KACEP Certified Kinesiology Major Students (KMS) Members¡± during the 2010 Northeast Asia Conference on Kinesiology (NACK).

This event¡¯s aim is to train students in major related to exercise or kinesiology to be competent exercise professionals¡±, to support physical education or kinesiology college-specific curriculum, and to promote activation of each university¡¯s sport medicine team. We ask faculty of each university/college to encourage their students to participate in the events.

In addition, please refer to the following events summary and make sure to prepare you and your students for the events.

- Free communication studies related to Kinesiology/Sports Medicine
(Philosophical Study, Historical Study, Theoretical Study, Experimental Study, Case Study, Therapeutic Exercise Method, etc.)

4. Manuscript/PowerPoint templates (PPT) Submission
1) Presentation Manuscript Submission: Monday, April 26 - Friday April 30, 2010
2) Participants must submit both of their manuscript (for evaluation, A4 size 6 pages) and PPT file (22 slides) via E-mail (kacepsymposia@hanmail.net).
5. Presentation: 15-minute oral presentation
6. Award: Individual and Team Award (Individual Award: Certificate, Team Award: Certificate and Prize)
- Gold Prize: Certificate and Prize (500,000 KRW)
- Silver Prize: Certificate and Prize (300,000 KRW)
- Bronze Prize: Certificate and Prize (200,000 KRW)
- Participation Prize: Certificate

1. Qualification

2) Way to Apply: Via KACEP Homepage (www.kacep.or.kr)
3. Contest Outline
- Whole area of Human Anatomy, short-answer questions about anatomic part of human bodies.
4. Award
1) Individual Award
- Grand Prize (1), First Prize (1), Satisfactory Prize (1): Certificate and Prize
-In case, more than five students participate from each university, the highest scoring student will be given the satisfactory prize.
2) Team Award
- Excellent Team Prize (Number of Participants (60%) £« Average Score (40%)): Certificate and Prize
1) Grand Prize (1), First Prize (1), Good Prize (1): Certificate and Prize
2) Evaluation method: 100 points is perfect score is as follows
60 points (number of participants in each university/total number of participants) + 40 points (average score in each university)
After registration, excluding absentees, we will decide how many participants of each university compete.

- Preliminary: Weekends in May
- Final: During 2010 NACK
4. Contest Outline
- Part/Method: Implement the taping properly at Wrist/Ankle/Knee/Shoulder in given situation.
- Main Focus on Evaluation:
Anchor Tape Location, Starting Point, Attitude of Participant, Selection of Method and Material, Protection and Care for Skin, Spending Time, Result (Taping Range, Joint Operation Range, Completion)
5. Award
- Grand Prize (1), First Prize (1), Satisfactory Prize (1): Certificate and Prize
* Special Benefit: Prizewinner will have an opportunity for participating in kinesiologist specialist workshop as a teaching assistant.
